In this design research project, I explored digital training modules for blind and visually impaired smartphone users, focusing on the assistive device 'Hable.' The goal was to address limited access to rehabilitation resources by promoting self-directed learning as a cost-effective and scalable alternative. Using a Generative Co-Design Framework with user-journey mapping workshops, interviews, and focus groups, the research emphasized the need for task-oriented exercises and personalized training pathways. Partnering with the Hable One startup team and collaborating with organizations like Visio and Bartiméus, the findings support innovative, accessible, and flexible training delivery for visually impaired users.
