DDM170 Community Xperience Design

In this course, I explored how the Internet impacts industrial design, focusing on leveraging online crowds and communities to understand user needs, co-create concepts, develop prototypes, and secure funding. The course also addressed designing platforms that foster communication, collaboration, and community growth. Through theory, design guidelines, and practical application, I learned to integrate crowds and communities into each step of the design cycle. In a group project, we utilized platforms like Amazon Mechanical Turk, Prolific, Reddit, Facebook, Fiverr, and Indiegogo.
